Over 40,000 liters of smuggled petroleum products seized in Sanaa

SANAA, Dec. 13 (YPA) – Police forces in Sanaa province have seized 40,311 liters of smuggled petroleum products for the purpose of selling it on the black market.

The police forces stated that the amount of smuggled fuel was seized on board a locomotive inside a tank and hidden under a quantity of “mud”.

According to the police, the driver paid 150,000 Yemeni riyals as a bribe to the police personnel in exchange for allowing him to cross the security point, but they refused to accept the bribe, and they delivered the seized quantity to the competent authorities.
