Youth minister congratulates junior team on qualifying for West Asian final

SANAA, Dec. 11 (YPA) – Minister of Youth and Sports, Mohammed Hussein Al-Moayedi, congratulated the junior national team after its qualification to the finals of the West Asian Junior Championships.

Al-Moayedi said in a statement that the team’s stars strongly managed to overcome all circumstances, achieving successive victories despite of their difficult conditions.

The Minister added: The qualification of the junior team to the final match of the tournament is a confirmation of their entitlement to compete for the title and to win gold.

The qualification came after Yemen’s junior national team qualified for final of West Asian Championship after beating Syrian team 2-1 the match held on Saturday in Saudi Arabia.
