Two gunmen killed, 25 others wounded in armed clashes in Abyan

ABYAN, Dec. 05 (YPA) – About 2 militants belonging to the Saudi-backed Islah Party was killed and 25 others were wounded in infighting in the coastal city of Shakra in Abyan province, south of Yemen.

According to local sources, the armed clashes happened between the Director of Public Security, Abu Mishaal Al-Kazmi, and the commander of the “Special Forces” Mohammad Al-Auban, against the background of the dispute over a military vehicle, causing also heavy damage to the homes of citizens.

The various types of light and medium weapons were used in the clashes.
