HODEIDA, Nov. 28 (YPA) – The Saudi-led coalition forces suffered on Sunday heavy losses in lives and gear during a failed attempt to advance towards the east of Hays district in Hodeida province, western Yemen.
A military source in the province confirmed that the Yemeni army and popular committees repelled the coalition forces’ attempt to advance in Hays, which resulted in dozens of dead and wounded among the coalition troops, while others fled, as well as big losses in military gear.
This failed attempt comes within the framework of the coalition forces’ continual violations of the Hodeida armistice, the latest of which was yesterday, Saturday, by committing 98 violations.
It is worth noting that the coalition forces have suffered, during the past weeks, heavy human and material losses on the fronts of the West Coast.
