Hebrew media: Senior Israeli official visits Egypt

EGYPT, Nov. 14 (YPA) – Hebrew media reported on Sunday that a high-ranking Israeli official arrived in Cairo to hold talks with Egyptian officials.

The journalist from the Zionist Broadcasting Corporation “Makan” team, Shimon Aran, mentioned on his Twitter account that a private Israeli plane landed today, Sunday, in Cairo, and it is likely that there is a large Israeli figure on board.

He explained that this plane “AYT001” is usually used for visits by senior Israeli officials, especially that it had previously transported an Israeli delegation to Khartoum.

For its part, the ‘Walla’ news website confirmed that the Israeli entity’s National Security Adviser, Eyal Holata, left today for Cairo to meet with Head of the Egyptian General Intelligence, Abbas Kamel.

According to the website, the meeting would discuss the continuation of the settlement process with Hamas and the possibility of Egypt playing the mediating role in the issue of Israeli prisoners and missing persons in the Gaza Strip.
