ABYAN, Nov. 13 (YPA) – At least two civilians were injured on Saturday when an explosive device went off targeting a military vehicle of Islah party in the coastal city of Shoqra in Abyan province, southern Yemen, the sources said.
According to the sources, the injured, Zaid Al-Ba’am, from Masna’ Al-Asmak neighborhood, and Abdelqader Muhammad Karama, from Kod Anbar neighborhood, were transferred to the city’s hospital.
The detonation of the explosive device came in conjunction with the arrival of military reinforcements belonging to Islah militants to the city during the past hours, and the closure of the main road by conscripts to demand the payment of their overdue salaries.
