STC rejects Hadi’s decisions of new appointments in Aden

ADEN, Nov. 07 (YPA) – The UAE-backed Southern Transitional Council (STC) announced on Sunday its rejection of the decisions issued by the exiled “Hadi” to appoint managers for the Aden Refinery and Yemeni Petroleum Company in Aden province, southern Yemen.

The official spokesman for the STC, Ali Abdullah Al-Kathiri, described Hadi’s decisions as “unilateral” and deviating from the contents of the so-called “Riyadh agreement.”

Al-Kathiri considered that the issued decisions aim to obstruct efforts to complete the implementation of the agreement, stressing the rejection of the decisions and all their consequences.

On Saturday, Hadi issued two decisions from his residence in Riyadh appointing Muhammad Yaslam Saleh as CEO of the Aden Refineries Company, and Ammar Nasser Abdullah Al-Awlaqi as manager of the Aden Petroleum Company.
