Financial official in pro-coalition Al-Amaliqa Brigades kidnapped in Lahj

LAHJ, Nov. 06 (YPA) – A financial official of the so-called “Abu Zara’a Al-Mahrami” wing in the “Al-Amaliqa Brigades” loyal to the UAE in Lahj province was kidnapped on Saturday in Lahj province.

Media stated that unidentified persons kidnapped Samir Al-Mahrami while he was passing on the coastal line in Lahj and took him to an unknown destination.

Islah Party accused the UAE-backed gunmen led by Tariq Afash of being behind the operation, which coincides with the UAE’s start of the process of transferring the “Al-Amaliqa Brigades” from the western coast to Abyan and Marib provinces.
