Ethiopian PM calls on his people to take up arms to fight against Tigray Liberation Front

SANAA, Nov. 01 (YPA) – Ethiopian Prime Minister Abiy Ahmed on Sunday called on citizens in Ethiopia to take up arms and fight against the Tigray People’s Liberation Front (TPLF), which Addis Ababa designates as a terrorist.

This comes as the TPLF forces seized the town of Kombolcha and its airport in the Amhara region,  a day after it took control of the strategic city of Dessie in the same territory.

Abiy Ahmed warned his compatriots not to listen to the negative propaganda of the Popular Front for the Liberation of Tigray. He urged them to unite together in order to bury the front.

He considered that the challenges he now facing  seem to complex and intractable, but standing together and remaining organized will defeat any evil.
