Saudi Arabia arrests “Al-Okaimi” as double agent

SANAA, Oct. 29 (YPA) – Saudi security services have arrested Rabie al-Okaimi, brother of Sheikh Amin al-Okaimi, Jawf governor in Hadi government.

Saudi authorities have sent Rabie al-okaimi to prison after they discovered that he had passed on some inaccurate information to Saudi Arabia about Oman and Qatar after Riyadh recruited him to serve as an informer in  the two countries during the siege of Qatar, the sources said.

The sources said al-Okaimi was transmitting information, some of which were false, among other things, information and photographs provided by Saudi intelligence about Qatar and Oman.

According to the sources, Rabie al-Okaimi has been paid by the Saudi authorities for his contacts against Oman and Qatar in recent years, but when they discovered that he had provided some false and misleading information, Saudi regime imprisoned him.
