Mass preparations to commemorate Prophet Muhammad’s birthday in Sanaa, other provinces

SANAA, Oct. 18  (YPA) – Millions of Yemenis are prepared to take part in mass rallies to commemorate the Holy Prophet Mohammed’s birthday (peace be upon him) on Monday afternoon in the capital Sanaa and the rest of the provinces.

Earlier of this month , Sayyed Abdu-Malik al-Houthi called on all the Yemeni people to participate in the celebration of Prophet’s birthday, saying “I am very confident that, as in previous years, our people will be at the forefront of their majestic and great presence in all arenas more than any other people”.

The organizing committees set 18 major squares to welcome millions of Yemenis commemorating the birthday of the Prophet Muhammed (peace be upon him)  in the  provinces of  Saada, Hajjah,  Raymah, Hodeidah, Dhamar, Ibb, Taiz, Amran, Mahweit, Jawf, Bayda, Marib, Dhalea  as well as the central event  will be hold in the capital, Sanaa.

The organizing committee called residents in the capital and Sanaa governorate to gather in the large mass in the Sabeen Square, while the Revolution Sports Stadium was designated for women’s event.

Mass crowds have been gathering since Wednesday from various districts of Sanaa province and other provinces to Sabaeen Square, despite the difficult economic conditions.
