“ADNOC” imposes new prices of oil derivatives in Socotra

SOCORTA, Oct. 13 (YPA) – Abu Dhabi National Oil Company (ADNOC) imposed on Wednesday a new price on oil derivatives on the island of Socotra.

Activists on social media said the new price on fuel bringing the price of a gallon to 20 liters, 18,000 riyals, indicating that the increase amounted to 5,000 riyals since the beginning of last September.

According to the activists, the UAE-backed Southern Transitional Council militia on the island, vowed to pursue the protesters denouncing the rise in oil prices and the deterioration of the living situation.
