NCM expects clear to partly cloudy weather

SANAA, Oct, 11 (YPA) – The National Center of Meteorology (NCM) expected clear to partly cloudy weather, with scattered rain of varying intensity, within the coming 24 hours.

The center indicated, in its weather bulletin on Monday, that rain would focus on parts of the southwestern highlands of the provinces of Ibb, Taiz, Dhalea, Lahj, Hadramout, Shabwa and Abyan.

It stated that the weather in the desert areas might be clear to partly cloudy, with northeasterly moderate winds, active at times.

While the weather of the Socotra archipelago will be partly cloudy to cloudy with the possibility of scattered rain, and the winds to be southeast to southwesterly moderate, with a maximum speed of 20 knots.

The center warned citizens in areas expected to rain to stay away from waterways and valleys during and after the rain, in order to preserve their safety.
