US pressures Sudan to sign normalization agreement with Israeli occupation

KHARTOUM, Oct. 11 (YPA) – The United States of America has begun to put pressure on Sudan to push it towards the official signing of the normalization agreement with the Israeli occupation, a Hebrew channel reported on Monday.

“There are differences between the two components of the transitional authority in Sudan, both military and civil, on the issue of normalization,” the official “Kan” channel said in a televised report.

The government in Khartoum, about a year ago, announced its intention to sign an agreement to normalize relations with the Israel occupation entity, which has not happened officially so far.

Amichai Stein, the channel’s political correspondent, said: “The Americans recently began to pressure Sudan to sign an agreement to normalize with Israel and launch diplomatic relations with it.”
