Several Jordanian ministers resign in preparation for government reshuffle

AMMAN, Oct. 11 (YPA) – Several Jordanian ministers submitted on Sunday their resignations to Prime Minister Bishr Al-Khasawneh in preparation for a government reshuffle that is considered the fourth in the life of the current government, an informed Jordanian source said.

The amendment is expected to include the portfolios of media, finance, works, transport, environment, industry, trade, culture, energy, justice and a minister of state.

It is likely that there will be an exchange of portfolios in the government and the appointment of new faces, including women.

In October 2020, Jordan’s King Abdullah II commissioned Al-Khasawneh to form his government, to succeed the government of Omar Al-Razzaz.
