Omani ports resume work after end of Hurricane Shaheen’s direct effects

MUSCAT, Oct. 05 (YPA) -The Sultanate of Oman announced on Monday the resumption of work in a number of seaports to receive ships normally, after the end of the direct effects of the tropical condition “Shaheen”.

In this context, the Sultan of Oman, Sultan Haitham bin Tariq, ordered the formation of a ministerial committee to assess the damages suffered by citizens’ homes and their various properties in the provinces that were directly affected by the tropical situation in order provide support and assistance.

Sultan Haitham also directed the expedite repair of the infrastructure that was damaged as a result of the hurricane.
