Israeli occupation to be held accountable for its crimes in Palestine: Kuwait’s official

SANAA, Oct. 02 (YPA) – Kuwait calls for the Israeli occupation to be held accountable for its violations in Palestine.

Kuwait called on the international community “not to allow the Israeli occupation forces to believe that they have the green light to continue committing their crimes in Palestine without repercussions.”

This came in a speech delivered by Kuwait’s Permanent Representative to the United Nations and other international organizations in Geneva, Ambassador “Jamal Al-Ghunaim” to the 48th session of the United Nations Human Rights Council.

Al-Ghunaim called for respect for all principles and provisions of the international human rights and humanitarian law that are applicable to stop committing the Isreali crimes against defenseless civilians over the occupied Palestinian territories, including al-Quds.

He pointed to “the gravity of the repeated violations committed by Israeli enemy against the Palestinian people, some of which amount to war crimes and crimes against humanity.”

The ambassador strongly condemned all the flagrant violations of international human rights and humanitarian law committed by the occupation against the Palestinian people.
