About 9 tons of smuggled foreign coffee seized in land crossings

DHAMAR, Sept. 30 (YPA) – Ministry of Agriculture and Irrigation, represented by the General Administration of Plant Protection seized on Thursday about 9 tons of smuggled foreign coffee in the land crossings of Jawf and Dhamar.

Hilal Al-Jashari, the director of Plant Protection, explained that 2.5 tons of smuggled Abyssinian coffee seized at Dhamar customs crossing and 7.5 tons of Ethiopian coffee seized at Jawf land border crossing, in coordination with specialists in combating smuggling.
