UN international meeting to support Sudan’s Civilian-led Transition

SANAA, Sept. 30 (YPA) – An international meeting will be held at the UN headquarters in New York on Thursday under the title  of  “Supporting Sudan’s Democratic Civil Transition.”

The meeting is organized by the State of Norway and UN Secretary-General Antonio Guterres, according to the official Sudanese News Agency (SONA).

Sudanese Prime Minister Abdalla Hamdok, Guterres and Norwegian Foreign Minister Ine Eriksen will speak at the opening session, which aims to confirm the international community’s support for Sudan’s civil transition, the source said.
