Protests continue in Taiz to demand departure of pro-coalition authorities
TAIZ, Sept. 28 (YPA) – Angry protests continued on Tuesday in Taiz city, southwest Yemen, to demand the departure of the local authorities of Hadi’s government and Saudi-led coalition forces from the city.
The protesters burned pictures of the Islah Party-belonged government’s head, Maeen Abdulmalik, during the marches that roamed the city, calling for the downfall of this government, according to local sources.
The city of Taiz has been witnessing a comprehensive strike of shops for the second day in a row, amid calls for the continuation of protests calling for the exit of the coalition forces that caused the deterioration of economic and living conditions.
