Palestinians wounded by Zionist occupation gunfire during clashes in Jenin

WEST BANK, Sept. 28 (YPA) – Two Young Palestinians were wounded on Tuesday, by Zionist enemy forces as they withdrew from the town of Qabatiya, south of Jenin in the occupied West Bank.

The Zionist enemy forces continued search and combing campaigns in Qabatiya until 5:30 a.m. this morning, and during their  withdrawal they  were confronted by Palestinians, Palestine Today agency reported.

The Palestinians closed the main streets near the entrance to Qabatiya and Bir al-Basha, attacking the occupying patrols that chased them,’

They threw stones, fired Molotov cocktails and locally manufactured bottles at the Zionist soldiers.

The occupation soldiers fired at the Palestinians, injuring the two. They were taken to the Martyr Khalil Suleiman State Hospital to receive treatment.

The town of Qabatiya, south of Jenin, witnessed armed clashes between resistance fighters and enemy forces that stormed the town at 2:00 a.m.

According to eyewitnesses, 20 military patrols stormed the town from the southern entrance and surrounded the mountainous areas of the area.

They added that the soldiers broke into several houses in Jabal Al-Zakarna and carried out excavations and searches .

Some sources indicated a young man was arrested while  Palestinians opened fired at at  the occupation army from several axes in the town.
