Coalition destroys 3 main hospitals, 4 health units in Marib

MARIB, Sept. 26 (YPA) – There is a real tragedy and great suffering experienced by the people of Marib province as a result of the Saudi-led aggression coalition’s targeting of infrastructure, especially hospitals and health facilities, a local official in Marib said on Sunday.

Director of the Health Office in Marib, Dr. Mohammed Al-Sha’ab, added in a statement to Al-Masirah TV:” The aggression airstrikes completely destroyed 3 main hospitals and 4 health units, depriving citizens of health services and necessary care in the liberated districts.”

Dr. Al-Sha’ab explained that the simplest medical and emergency cases force citizens to travel to Sanaa in light of the seriousness of the situation, the destruction of roads and the long distances.

Marib is still suffering from the remnants of the US-Saudi aggression, and there are almost daily cases of injuries due to the remnants of the cluster bombs and shells left behind by the aggression coalition in separate areas of the province, he said.

He pointed out that Marib needs a lot of efforts from the state and humanitarian organizations in order to alleviate the suffering of the people of the province, especially the stricken Serwah district.
