Saudi-backed militias suffer heavy losses in several fronts

BAYDA, Jan. 30 (YPA) – The Yemeni army on Tuesday carried out military operations in several fronts, inflicting Saudi-backed militias heavy losses in lives and gear, a military official told Yemen Press Agency.

The Yemeni army carried out an ambush on a foot patrol of Saudi-backed militias east of Shabakat Sabah in Thi Naeim district of Yemen’s eastern province of Bayda.

In the southern province of Lahj, the Yemeni army troops were able to destroy a military vehicle with a missile, killing its crew in Karish front.

The Yemeni army forces also detonated another military vehicle of the militias with an explosive device in Al-Mahashima front in Khab wa Al-shaf district of Jawf province.
