Military leader in STC militias survives assassination attempt in Lahj

LAHJ, Sept. 22 (YPA) – A military leader in the southern transitional council (STC)’s militias survived on Wednesday an assassination attempt in Lahj province, local sources said.

The sources reported that security director of al-Musaimir district, appointed by the transitional council, Abdual-Kareem al-Hawshabi survived an assassination attempt by an armed ambush in Qaif area.

The sources declared that al-Hawshabi guards and arrested one of the perpetrators of the attack, without any injuries.
