STC sends military reinforcements to Abyan front

ABYAN, Sept. 22 (YPA) – The Southern Transitional Council (STC)’s militias loyal to the UAE on Wednesday sent military reinforcements to Zenjbar city, the capital of Abyan province.

The STC distributed its militias in several military sites in the vicinity of the city, in conjunction with the return of the military escalation between the STC and Islah Party in Balhaf gas facility, informed sources said.

This comes after STC activists decisively launched the battle of Abyan with Islah militants, and put an end to the so-called “Riyadh Agreement”, which Saudi Arabia has not implemented since it was signed in early November 2019.
