Sanaa forces manage to achieve military progress in Bayhan axis

SANAA, Sept. 21 (YPA) – The Yemeni forces managed on Tuesday to achieve important progress in Bayhan axis of Shabwa province, local sources said.

According to the sources, the army advanced towards the areas of the Al-Hama and Al-Hajar junction in Osaylan area.

The army, supported by Shabwa tribes, attacked a number of brigades of the coalition militants and the elements of “Al-Qaeda” in the Bayhan axis, which includes “26 Micha Brigade, 19th Brigade, 153rd Brigade, 163rd Brigade, and 173rd Brigade, adding that the coalition forces suffered a crushing defeat in the operation.

The sources pointed out that the fighters of the army and tribes destroyed many military vehicles of the coalition forces, in addition to seizing a large amount of modern and advanced weapons.

Dozens of coalition militants were killed or wounded, while the rest fled towards Jardan and the Osaylan areas, the sources added.
