Iranian Defense Minister: the Israeli enemy will pay a heavy price and we will respond strongly to any act of aggression

SANAA, Sept. 20 (YPA) – Iranian Defense Minister Mohammad Reza Ashtiani on Monday dismissed recent threats by the Zionist officials, warning of a “crushing” response.

In his speech  to a gathering of Defense Ministry officials on Monday, Brigadier General Ashtiani dismissed the absurd anti-Iranian comments from the Zionist regime’s officials.

“Any unwise and stupid measure will trigger a crushing response from Iran that would inflict heavy costs on the aggressors,” Ashtiani said .

“The Islamic Republic has made it clear that its advanced defense power is solely aimed at safeguarding the country’s security and protecting the borders, in the meantime, it will deal with any potential threat or act of aggression,” he added.

“Iran will continue to develop its defense and military power under its defense strategy, and the Iranian people will respond strongly to any folly of the enemy,” he said
