Iran: America must change its approach in upcoming Vienna talks

TEHRAN, Sept. 20 (YPA) – Iranian Foreign Ministry spokesman, Saeed Khatibzadeh, said on Sunday that Iran would not accept anything less than the nuclear agreement and would not give up its rights guaranteed by this agreement.

“Therefore the United States should come to the Vienna talks in a different way than before, Khatibzadeh added, during his weekly press conference.”

He pointed out that America had practiced unilateralism and exclusivity in the Vienna talks regarding the nuclear agreement with Iran, considering that if America abandoned this unilateralism, the course of the Vienna talks would go for the better.

“America, which vetoed UN Resolution 2231 and exerted unjust pressure on the Iranian people unilaterally, and therefore Washington is primarily responsible for the suffering of the Iranians,” he stressed.

Khatibzadeh also criticized America’s violations of human rights, describing it as the biggest violator of human rights in other countries, where various types of embargoes and sanctions are imposed.
