UAE-backed militia open fires at protesters in Aden

ADEN, Sept. 17 (YPA) – The UAE-backed Southern Transitional Council (STC)’s militia on Friday opened fire at demonstrators in the Sheikh Othman area of Aden province, local sources said.

The sources confirmed that citizens staged angry protests after Friday’s prayers, denouncing the deterioration of living conditions and basic services of electricity and water.

This came following a campaign of night raids by the STC’s militia against protesters in the districts Mansoura and Sheikh Othman.
