NCM calls on residents not to be present in waterways within rains

SANAA, Sept. 13 (YPA) – The National Center of Meteorology (NCM) alerted on Monday citizens to the flow of torrents in reefs and valleys, calling for not being present in the valleys and waterways within the rains.

In its weather forecast, the center also warned motorists to drive carefully on mountainous roads as a result of decrease in the range of horizontal visibility and forming fog.

It expected rain, accompanied by thunderstorms, on separate areas of the western highlands and parts of the western, southern and eastern coasts and the adjacent interior areas.

The center pointed out that the southwest monsoons would continue to blow over the Socotra Archipelago, the Gulf of Aden and Bab al-Mandab.
