UAE besieges Islah militants militarily from Hadramout

SHABWA, Sept. 09 (YPA) – The UAE forces have imposed a military cordon on Saudi-backed Islah party in from Hadramout province, local sources said.

The sources affirmed that the UAE mobilized hundreds of “Southern Transitional Council” members and distributed them over the past two days in the “Qarat al-Fars” area located between Shabwa and Hadramout.

The UAE forces are preparing for a new phase of the conflict with the Islah militants in Shabwa, after the Saudi mediation between the Emirati occupation forces and the Party authorities.

The sources considered the three-month deadline given by the Saudi mediation for the exit of the Emirati forces from the Balhaf facility was nothing more than a military tactic to impose a siege on the Islah militants in Shabwa.

The sources suggested that the UAE is threatening the Islah Party directly from the Balhaf facility and from the border areas with Hadramout.

This comes after the Islah authorities in Shabwa demanded the exit of the Emirati forces in the Balhaf gas facility, and the help of tribesmen to carry out sit-ins and protests in front of the facility located in Radhum district.
