7 Syrian soldiers killed, 3 injured in Daraa explosion

SANAA, Sept. 09 (YPA) – At least Seven Syrian soldiers were killed and three others injured in an explosive device explosion that hit their car in Daraa countryside, Novosti news agency quoted a security source as saying.

“An explosive device planted on the road between the villages of Nafia and Ain Male exploded and targeted a Syrian army car as it was passing in the area, killing seven elements and injuring three others,” the source said.

Earlier, the Syrian army was able to enter the Daraa al-Balad area, in the south of the country, with Russian military police, and began combing and searching houses, days after the government reached a settlement agreement with militants, some of whom were evacuated out of the city.
