Coalition forces execute captives of Al-Yatama tribes in Al-Boqa

JAWF, Sept. 07 (YPA) – The Saudi-led coalition forces on Tuesday executed a number of young men from Al-Yatama desert tribes in Jawf province, whom they had captured in Al-Boqa Desert, local sources told Yemen Press Agency.

“Brigadier General Hadi Hamran Al-Jaidi, commander of Al-Hasm Border Guard Brigade of the coalition forces on the Yemeni-Saudi border, issued directives to execute a group of young men from the Al Wahas and Al al-Shaar tribes in Al-Yatama desert of Khub Washa’af district,” the sources said.

The sources confirmed that Colonel Abu Omar Al-Ghorbani, commander of the military police in Al-Boqa axis of the coalition forces, oversaw the execution of the captives.

According to the sources, the coalition forces arrested the young men in the Al-Boqa desert, within the southern borders of Saudi Arabia, while they were trying to smuggle ‘qat’ leaves and sell it to the coalition recruits.
