Report: 2 civilians killed in Saudi-led coalition attacks on Yemen over 24 hours
SANAA, June 9 (YPA) – Two civilians, including a woman, were killed and another injured when the US-backed Saudi-led coalition launched 16 airstrikes and ground attacks which targeted several areas of Yemen’s provinces during 24 hours, according to reports combined by Yemen Press Agency on Saturday.
- In Saada province:
A civilian was killed and another injured by the Saudi border guards’ fires in Ghor-bni Main area of Razih district.
A woman was wounded and a home destroyed in artillery and missile shelling in several areas of Munabeh border district.
Artillery and missile shelling targeted several areas of Sahda and Razih border districts.
Meanwhile, coalition warplane waged a strike on a main road in Maran area of Haidan district
In Hodeidah province:
4 airstrikes hit civilians’ farms in Tuhaita district.
Two airstrike were waged on Duraihimi district.
An airstrike on Huk district.
- In Marib province:
Two airstrikes hit Serwah district.
- In Yemen’s Jawf province:
An air strike was waged on Mazwia area in the east of Motun district.
- In Taiz province:
Five Saudi-led airstrikes were waged on Aynain mount of Habshi mountain district.
