Commander loyal to UAE-backed STC arrested

SHABWAH, Sept.07 (YPA) –  A high-ranking military commander loyal to the UAE-backed southern Transitional Council (STC) militias was arrested in Shabwah, eastern Yemen.

Wadah al-Kaldi, commander of the emergency forces protecting the Saudi forces in Mahrah airport was arrested by the  Islah factions in Shabwah while on his way from Aden to Mahrah.

The fate of Al-Kladi  is not yet known as well as the motives of his arrest.
