Pro-coalition commander killed in Aden

ADEN, Sept. 04 (YPA) – A commander of the “Hazmiya” front loyal to the Saudi-led coalition in Bayda was killed on Sunday in the city of Aden, south of Yemen.

According to local sources, the commander Musa Mohsen al-Mashdali was assassinated when an explosive device, planted by unknown militants, exploded in his car in “Dar Saad” neighborhood, north of the city.

One of his companions was seriously wounded in the explosion
Al-Mashdali was one of the senior leaders of the coalition forces, in Bayda province, and had previously met repeatedly with the leadership of the Saudi forces in Yemen.

The wave of assassinations has been escalated in the city of Aden, since 2015, when mysterious operations have killed more than 220 people, including political and military leaders.
