21 Palestinians killed in continued Israeli attacks on Gaza

GAZA, Aug. 04 (YPA)-At least 21 Palestinians were killed and dozens more injured on Monday as Israeli airstrikes continued across the Gaza Strip, marking the 668th day of the ongoing conflict.

According to Palestinian sources, five people were killed and several others wounded when Israeli warplanes targeted a group of residents inspecting their homes in the Shuja’iyya neighborhood, east of Gaza City.

In northern Gaza, two more Palestinians were killed in an airstrike on a group of civilians in Beit Lahiya.

Meanwhile, at least two people were killed and more than 20 others wounded in a separate strike near the Al-Shakosh aid distribution center, north of Rafah in southern Gaza. One of the victims was identified as Hala Abu Muteir.

Another person was killed and several others injured when Israeli occupation forces reportedly targeted civilians waiting for aid in the Netzarim corridor, south of Gaza City.

The Al-Awda Hospital confirmed receiving six bodies and 31 wounded after the occupation forces bombed a crowd near an aid distribution point on Salah al-Din Street, south of Wadi Gaza in central Gaza.

Earlier in the day, three people were killed and others injured in an Israeli airstrike on Deir al-Balah in the central Gaza Strip.

The death toll continues to rise as Israeli airstrikes intensify across Gaza, devastating large parts of the enclave and displacing thousands of civilians, many of whom are now in urgent need of humanitarian aid.
