MARIB, Aug. 31 (YPA) – About 4 war prisoners were executed on Tuesday by al-Qaeda members and Islah militants backed by the Saudi-led coalition in the city of Marib, eastern Yemen.
The prisoners of Sanaa forces were killed after being tortured in Islahrin jails in one of Al Shabwan areas in Wadi Abaidah.
The sources confirmed that “Ali bin Hassan bin Gharib,” the military leader of the Islah militants in Abaidah areas, in coordinating with the terrorist elements of Al-Qaeda and ISIS organizations, directed his fighters to run over 4 prisoners while they were alive by a military armored vehicle belonging to the coalition.
Marib city witnesses numerous executions against prisoners in clear violation of the norms and international humanitarian laws, the latest of which was the execution of 3 prisoners inside the prisons of the “military police” of the coalition forces on August 15.
