Sanaa discusses ways to improve conditions of displaced from Shabwa

SANAA, Aug. 31 (YPA) – The Secretary-General of the Supreme Council for Management and Coordination of Humanitarian Affairs and International Cooperation, Abdulmohsen Tawoos, discussed on Tuesday with Governor of Shabwa province, Awad Al-Awlaqi, ways to improve the conditions of the displaced from Shabwa in the capital Sanaa.

The meeting reviewed plans to conduct a survey of all the displaced to know their conditions and their housing, food and health needs.

Tawoos confirmed the Council’s interest in meeting the necessary and basic needs of the displaced from the south, especially in the field of shelter and relief, in a way that ensures alleviating their suffering in light of the aggression and siege.

For his part, Al-Awlaqi valued the role of the Secretary-General of the Council in responding to the needs of the displaced from Shabwa and the south.
