Ministry of Industry discusses updating, issuing new price list

SANAA, Aug. 29 (YPA) – Minister of Industry and Trade Abdulwahhab Yahya Al-Durra chaired on Sunday a meeting in Sanaa to discuss the arrangements for updating and issuing the new price list.

The meeting reviewed a report on the level of performance, implementation of tasks, work guidelines, standards for updating the new price list, and the implementation plan for the internal trade sector to control the prices of basic and consumer food commodities.

At the meeting, the Minister of Industry stressed the need to redouble efforts and speed up the completion of the modernization procedures for the new price list, and to determine the upper ceilings for the most important basic commodities and targeted products that constitute a priority in the consumer’s living life.

He noted that the executive plan should include field visits, follow-up of commitment to the price list that will be issued, and coordination with the concerned agencies in the capital Sanaa and the provinces.
