DHALEA, Aug. 28 (YPA) – At least three sheikhs of radical Salafist elements were killed and four others were wounded on Friday, in an explosion targeting a military vehicle in Dhalea province, southern Yemen.
According to the sources, an improvised explosive device exploded and targeted a military pickup vehicle belonging to a Salafist leader, following a religious lecture by a Salafist leader near a mosque in Al-Jalila district, killing three people and wounding four.
The sources confirmed that the explosion killed three people, including Salafist Sheikh Mehran al-Aqbi, and injured four others, including Sheikh Marwan al-Aqabi, whose burns were described as very serious.
