Islah militants abduct 4 members of STC militias in Shabwa

SHABWAH, Aug. 25 (YPA) – Islah militants in Shabwah province kidnapped four recruits from the so-called Emirati-backed Shabwani elite.

 According to the local sources, that the so-called special security forces loyal to Islah abducted the recruits in The Ain Bamabad area of Rudum district.

The sources explained that among the abductees were journalist Murshid Fatim and Captain Younis Salem al-Mushroub, as well as two other soldiers belonging to the so-called First Brigade of the Shabwani elite.

 The operation comes a day after the kidnapping of two soldiers of the Shabwani elite forces in the same district.

Shabwah province is witnessing repression and abductions, particularly against the elite Shabwani soldiers, activists and media professionals in the province.
