President Al-Mashat receives message of thanks from Iranian president

SANAA, Aug. 24 (YPA) – Mahdi Al-Mashat, head of the Supreme Political Council on Tuesday has received a cable of thanks from Iranian President Ibrahim Raisi in response to the congratulations he sent to him on the occasion of his victory in the presidential elections.

In the cable, the Iranian president praised the steadfastness of the Yemeni people in the face of aggression for the seventh year in a row.

He affirmed the Islamic Republic of Iran’s solidarity with the Yemeni people against the brutal Saudi-led aggression and unjust siege .

The Iranian president also stressed keenness to expand the horizons of cooperation between the two countries in various fields to serve their common interests.
