Iraqi Air Force conducts airstrikes against ISIS hideouts

SANAA, Aug. 18 (YPA) – The security media of Iraqi government announced on Wednesday the Iraqi air forces waged an air strike on ISIS hideouts in the north of the country.

“Under the supervision and planning of the Joint Operations Command, and according to accurate intelligence information and extensive field reconnaissance, the Iraqi F16 aircraft carried out an air strike targeting ISIS cells in Hamrin mountain range,” it said in a statement.

The statement added, “The strike targeted a shelter for ISIS terrorist gangs, which was completely destroyed.”
