SANAA, Aug. 10 (YPA) – President of the Supreme Political Council, Mahdi al-Mashat, stressed the importance of redoubling efforts and coordination between the various concerned parties and the private sector to control prices and achieve food stability.
Al-Mashat stressed, during his meeting with Minister of Industry and Trade Abdul Wahab Al-Durra, not to allow a citizen to be exploited and to increase his suffering as a result of the continued aggression and siege.
The President Al-Mashat directed the Ministry to create means to encourage local production and protect local market from imported goods.
Al-Mashat urged all citizens to take the directives made by the leader of the revolution, Sayyed Abdul-Malik Al-Houthi, to move towards local agricultural and industrial production.
In the meeting, they discussed the decision of the US-led coalition and its mercenaries to raise the customs tariff to double the suffering of the Yemeni people.
The meeting touched on the measures taken by the Ministry of Industry to face the repercussions of raising the customs tariff, in addition to providing facilities for traders and the private sector to import through the port of Hodeida.
