Iran’s Air Defense Force Commander: We will respond overwhelmingly to the slightest attack on our airspace

TEHRAN, Aug. 10 (YPA) – Brigadier General Alireza Sabahifard, commander of Iran’s Air Defense Force, strongly warned against any attack on his country’s airspace, and stressed that the slightest attack on Iran’s airspace will face an overwhelming response from the Air Defense Forces.

“We are monitoring the enemy’s lowest movement around the clock,” Tasnim News Agency quoted Brigadier General Alireza Sabahifard .

The move came during his inspection of the control command post and the Marsad  missile site in Jask, southern Iran.

He stressed that the slightest attack on the country’s airspace will face a crushing response from the army’s air defense forces.

“The use of locally manufactured achievements and systems produced with the ideas and efforts of young scientists in our country is certainly a thorn in the eyes of enemies.”

The commander of the Iranian army’s air defense forces confirmed that the armed forces, especially the army’s air defense, are always guarding and defending the country’s land and water airspace and borders, noting that the rocket systems are homemade and have unique capabilities in destroying the aggressor’s targets.
