NABLUS, Aug. 06 (YPA) – A Palestinian on Friday evening was seriously injured during clashes with Israeli occupation forces in the town of Beita, south of Nablus.
The Palestinian Red Crescent said, in a brief statement, that a young man was seriously injured and he was taken to Rafidia Hospital in Nablus.
“Our crews dealt with 36 cases, including 33 tear gas and three injures with rubber bullets, during the ongoing clashes in Jabal Sabeih area of Beita town,” the statement read.
Beita has been witnessing several protests against the new settler outpost on Jabal Sabih, which lies on the southern outskirts of the village and comprises an estimated 30 percent of Beita’s entire land area.
