Yemeni riyal continues to collapse in southern provinces

SANAA, Aug. 06 (YPA) – The Yemeni riyal exchange rate continued on Friday to decline against foreign currencies in the southern provinces, reaching 1025 riyals in Aden and Hadhramaut provinces.

Local residents said, the price of one dollar has crossed the 1,030-riyal in Aden province.

The United Nations, in a report published on Thursday, confirmed that the Yemeni riyal lost 35 percent in areas, which are under the control of Hadi government.
