Corona deaths around world exceed 4 million cases

SANAA, Aug. 5 (YPA) – The latest announced global statistics on the “Corona” pandemic, as of this morning, Thursday, indicated that the number of deaths due to infection with the virus reached 4 million and more than 270 thousand deaths, while the total number of infections reached 201 million and about 12 thousand injuries, of whom 181 million recovered, and nearly 18,000 patients.

The Corona pandemic continues to spread in 220 countries, territories and regions around the world, and the countries of the world recorded 683 thousand and 851 new infections yesterday, Wednesday, and in the last 24 hours, 10,117 deaths occurred.

Statistics showed that the five countries that recorded the highest number of deaths in a single day in the world on Wednesday were: Indonesia (1,747 deaths), Brazil (1,118 deaths), Russia (790 deaths), America (656 deaths), and India (532 deaths).

The data indicated that the five countries that recorded the highest number of new injuries, globally, within one day, were, respectively, America (112,279 injuries), India (42,817 injuries), Brazil (40,460 injuries), Iran (39,357 injuries), and Indonesia (35,867 injuries). infection).
