Earthquake hits southwestern Turkey

SANAA, Aug. 3 (YPA) – The Turkish Disaster and Emergency Management Authority (AFAD) reported that an earthquake measuring 4.3 on the Richter scale hit the southwestern province of Mugla on Tuesday.

AFAD stated that a 4.3-magnitude earthquake was recorded in Dacha district at 02:00 local time (23:00 GMT).

AFAD indicated that the earthquake occurred at a depth of 24.21 km, and was 44.22 km from the district.
